I love this lens so much, I took it back  (dont know why ! )and then got it again.  This is another shot in what is fast becoming my coca cola series.

the shot is very very good, what trips me is the lighting.
Mobolaji Kamson: Thanks man !

Very good shot, did you use flash at an angle on this one?
Mobolaji Kamson: Thanks suby, No i did not use flash. it was a mixture of sunlight and indoor spotlights

The picture feels as cool as the ice in the cup. What post processing tools did you use?
Mobolaji Kamson: I use photoshop CS, I used channel mixer to lighten the color of the drink. A bit of gaussian blur, and slight over exposure.

I like I like!!
Mobolaji Kamson: Thanks Sola

This picture is 'picture perfect'. It's really lovely. I love the blurred background which makes you focus and centre your attention. I like the ice and the effect that makes the glass look cool. Though I think that the colour of the drink looks a tad unnatural. I love the fact that I can see the grains of the wood on the table and the light reflections hovering above the glass. Fab! I feel like bringing out my paints and praying I can achieve the same effects. Great job.
Mobolaji Kamson: Dee thanks for dropping bye, I like your wonderful critic. Hope you visit more often. As for Vignetting, it is actually a phenomenon that occurs usually in wide angle lenses where the image becomes black around the corners. These days it can be intentionally created using software. check out my image "GRAND CHEROKEE" for an example.

Peftect shot, would have been stronger if you have the coca cola in the background.
Mobolaji Kamson: You are right about that, I actually did not think about it at the time

Reza from United States 12 May 2006, 15:30
This is something I'd see on TV. Like one of those alcohol commercials.

I love it. BUT, I notice blur circle....thingies...maybe reflection above the main subject. Could you PLLLEAASE clone them out and send me a full resolution?

the email is

If not, thats ok. I understand. I would love to have a copy of this to post on my wall.
Mobolaji Kamson: No problem !

17-40 F4L?
Anyway, nice shot. The lighting is great, but I think it could use just a bit more DOF, there's a bit too little in focus IMHO. Reza has a point about those blue lights in the background above, they also spoil the whole colour scheme thing you have going here.
Mobolaji Kamson: I will work on this image again and see what happens.
Thanks, what is IMHO
