MACRO WEEK (1)

Guyz as promised this week is my first series. I will post only macro shots this week, all the pictures were actually captured last week either on my way to or from work. There is a 5 minute walk from where i live to the bus stop where i take the 5 bus to work. you will be suprised how many subjects present themsselves for interesting macro photography. All I needed to do was pay attention.

Ladies and gentlemen, come with me on my daily walk to and from the bustop where i take my bus to work !

Enjoy.

Nice shot. What's spidy climbing on?
Mobolaji Kamson: Its a blue ball which was sitting on a pillar at someones entrance gate.
Spidy is sooooooooooo small. About 1/4 inch.

cool shot but...the detail is...not there. Where is the focus? Those dust spekles on the greens really stand out.
Mobolaji Kamson: Yeah. This week has been pretty rough. I have had quite a lot of comments on focus and I agree. Must admit there is quite a lot of work to be done. I have been reading a lot on Macro and am learning a lot of new things. Hopefully my next macro series will be better.

Yup...you've lost detail. Considered using your flash? Ask Denosha for his flash techniques on macro shots of bugs.

Also I can see some sensor dust in about 2 places in the frame.

I love the colurs. Great composition regardless

Yup, they look like dust bunnies to me.

nice and the peeps have said it all. i'm glad ur learning and stuff, hopefully we'll see some sharp one from U soon. I think u should use a flash as well, considering ur shooting at 1/80 at f8.0, u need more light for macros.
