MACRO WEEK (2)

Well Hi ! everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend.

For all those who visited and left last week and I was not able to respond
I apologize. Your comments were greatly appreciated and I thank you for them.

I have decided to continue on this elusive quest for macro image mastery. This weeks series will be a mixture of plants and animals,

I hope you enjoy.

PS. I finally started using my FLASH

I actually like this but maybe the whole cone should be sharp, the sides are a bit blurry

So what's this? Bloom, I don't get it.

The subject is way too centralised (with no real symmetry or strong lines to lead the eye in). Background is too messy. DOF is too shallow. Flash is too harsh. Colours too flat. Eh.. i think i better stop there. In a nutshell, i think you can do far better than this. wink

Very sharp and nice use of DOF

The struggle continues !

nice detail, but a lot of the picture's lost in the blurry background.

Don't see anything wrong in centralising the subject (what is it anyway, some sort of cone?, IMO, it could have worked with more focus and sharpness.

My 2 cents.
