This is a very beautiful shot. Props.
Mobolaji Kamson: Foluso thanks.

Interesting macro. People are really into these really wide crops as of late. I almost wonder if I should join the bandwagon. Nice one. Kind regards, Brent
Mobolaji Kamson: Try it its cool shortcut to panorama

Jide Alakija 7 Jun 2006, 09:48
Better image but maybe the composition should be tighter on the side.
Mobolaji Kamson: I actually wanted the space sort of leading to nowhere. I guess i could have cropped on the right side but the detail on that side and the texture was just tempting .

Good shot! This is definately looking better, especially the colours. I'm guessing you chose to crop it this way to make use of the line of the stem(?) that runs across the frame under the bug, and I think it's a very interesting composition. Only problem here is the overexposed bits, but overall this is looking good!
Mobolaji Kamson: Yep, spot on about the composition.

Mobolaji Kamson: E thanks !

Mona 7 Jun 2006, 10:20
NOW this is grooovy!! You're just getting better and better with these macros grin
Mobolaji Kamson: Mona, as long as you dont want me to stop, i will continue !

Jide Alakija 7 Jun 2006, 10:22
What I tend to do when I want the detail around the main subject is to put the subject at the corner.
Mobolaji Kamson: Thank for the input Jide. I will continue to modify my technique.
