Hahahaha, i cracked up laughing at that....although No.2, the reason people look for the TV remote instead of changing channels manually is because,
1) those damn commercials
2) It's a hassle getting up and walking over to the de-coder every time you want to change the channel
3)One is going to have to EVENTUALLY find the remote..why not do it now?

Apart from that, the rest is true grin

Very funny observations, haven't heard some of them before smile.

On to the pic, the problems as I perceive them: 1) you have two flowers, so two things to look at (no main point of interest); 2) the flower on the left is too close to the edge, particularly since it is leaning over that way (should have space to lean into); 3) DOF is just about okay; 4) highlights on the flowers, esp. the right, are too bright - lost detail; 5) I can see a chicken-wire fence which is distracting esp. as it's right under the right-flower.

Try this: use a longer focal length, position yourself lower and further away, use a vertical orientation and make sure the background is darker than the flowers and with no distracting elements or highlights. That's my formula - YMMV.

Please take these comments in the spirit in which they are given (i.e. hopefully helpfully constructive).

I think it would have been better with the other flower(on the left)leaning (and pointing) towards the central flower.....
